Frances M. Sweatman, 71, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, at her home in Kerrville, Texas. She was born on December 28, 1937, in Fredericksburg, Texas, to Wert and Alma Sweatman.

Frances loved to cook and garden and do home improvement projects. Her family was the most important thing. Dancing and garage sales were her passion. She was employed by the Kerrville State Hospital for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister Nettie Ragsdale.

Frances is survived by her daughter Summer Jones of Big Bear Lake, California; son Dale Smith of Richmond, Texas; brothers Mel Sweatman and wife Teresa of Rockport, Texas and Delton Sweatman and wife Cheri of Zephyr, Texas; grandchildren Colby Wickson and Harley Wickson and one great grandchild on the way; and many other family members and friends who loved her will miss her but will see her again in Heaven someday.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 21, 2009, at Faith Christian Church of Kerrville (1205 Sydney Baker S.) with Pastor Fegenbush officiating.

In lieu of flowers, it was Frances wish that donations may be made in her honor to The Hill Country Youth Ranch, P.O. Box 67, Ingram, TX 78025-9986.

My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. I knew Francis for over 20 years at work and around town, she was a very friendly and loving lady, always had a smile. She will be missed very much by everyone who know her. God Bless you and be strong Winifred Slape
