Margie Sue Melton at the age of 89 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at a local hospital. She was born on December 14, 1940 in Evergreen, Alabama to Ben and Margie Dulany. Margie worked as a Court Report in Harris County. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Seabrook Texas, and she came to Kerrville in 2002 from Louisiana. Margie love her family so much that they had 5 generations living in one house. She enjoyed play games on the computer, cross word puzzles in ink, going to Wal-Marts and crocheting. She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters Willmae, Janie and Maggie, 3 brothers Robert, Dewey and Burrell and a grandson in law Eddie Andrade.
Margie is survived by her daughter Cherly McElmury of Kerrville; grandchildren Dana Andrade, Bo Faircloth and wife Charlene and Mike Faircloth and wife Sheri; great grandchildren Bryant and wife Samantha, Kyle and wife Crystal, Ashleigh, Shane, Sheryl, Duke, BJ, Derek, Ryan and Tommy; great great grandchildren Aiden, Alexis, Preston and one on the way and many other family members and friends who love her will miss her.
Memorial services will be held 2pm, Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Solid Rock Church in Kerrville with Pastor Rose officiating the services.
