1946 - 2010
Mike Malone at the age of 63 passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the Kerrville Texas VA. He was born on December 13, 1946 in Bell, CA to Ed and Hula Malone. Mike served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam from 1970 until 1972. He lived in California most of his life and loved to travel in his RV. He is preceded in death by his mother.
Mike is survived by his son Sean Asmus and wife Wendy of AZ; sister Pat Finnerty and husband Jim of CA; brother Ed Malone of CA; 2 grandchildren and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.
Burial will be at Ft. Sam National Cemetery in San Antonio Texas at a later date.

Rest in Peace Mike Malone, we are sorry we never got to meet you. We are forever grateful to you for the gift of your Son Sean who is the Husband of our Daughter and Father of our Granddaughters.

I have many fond memories of Mike growing up as he was a special friend of my brother Phil and our family. Many times he enjoyed my mom's homemade bread and cookies. He loved his 1958(?) Chevrolet. God Bless you Mike.....rest peacefully.
