Fredrick  HenckelFredrick "Willie" Henckel at the age of 70 passed away on Sunday, Feb. 07, 2010 at a Kerrville Texas care center. He was born on January 06, 1940 in Houston, Texas to Stanley and Florabess Henckel. Willie served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 until 1961. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion in Kerrville. Fred was always known as Willie because he looked like Willie Nelson. He worked in the salvage yard and he work many years with Guadalupe Signs and L.D. Haynes all in Kerrville. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers John, Charles and David and a sister Kathy Henley. Willie is survived by 4 children Steven, Mark, Lisa and Linda; brother Clay Henckel and wife Barbara of Ingram; sister Mary Freeman of Arlington, Tx; grandchildren and many other family members and friends who loved him will miss him. Private family services will be held at a later date at Eagle Nest in Medina, Texas.
