Ethel Bell McGehee Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1925 - 2010 Ethel Bell "Gumbert" McGehee at the age of 84 went to be with her Lord on Monday, May 10, 2010 at her home in Mountain Home. She was born on May 16, 1925 in Travis County to Herman and Katie "Maples" Gumbert. Ethel married JR on December 12, 1942 in Burnet Texas he passed from this life in 1997. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband JR, 2 sons Bill and Gene, daughter in-law Renelda, 3 great grandsons, 1 great granddaughter and 2 sisters. Ethel is survived by 3 sons Jim McGehee and wife Winnell of Ingram, Cecil McGehee and wife Kathy of Kerrville and Richard McGehee and wife Martha of Gatesville; daughter Cathy Lowrance and husband Doug of Mountain Home; brother Willie Gumbert and wife Minnie of Ingram; sister Helen Sparks and husband Leon of Lake Wemberly; 18 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and many other family members and friends who love her will miss her. Graveside services will be held 10am, Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Nichols Cemetery in Kerrville.
