Rebecca C. Rubio at the age of 78 went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at a Kerrville Texas care center. She was born on March 20, 1932 in Fredericksburg Texas to Antonio and Angelita "Corona" Rubio. Rebecca loved going to church and helping others too worship the Lord. She loved to sew, garden, shop and most of her family. Rebecca lived in Fredericksburg 74 yrs and then moved to Kerrville 4 years ago so that her daughter could take care of her. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Roman Straube, brothers Ralph, Willie, and Enrique.
Rebbecca is survived by her children 5 sons Savas C. Guevara, Sylvester and wife Rose Guevara, Willie Leon, Raul and wife Maria Guevara and Carl Straube and wife Cindy; daughter Emma Angelita Pearl Cloe; half brother Daniel Rubio; sister Maria Perez; 8 grandchildren Angela, Monica, Francisco "cowboy", Candis, Keithy, Cynthia, Carly and Kendall; 1 great grandson Quentin De Paul Parker and many other family members and friends who love her will miss her.
Memorial serves will be held 11am, Friday, May 21, 2010 at Fredericksburg Funeral Home (2778 Hwy. 87) in Fredericksburg Texas.
