
Merle J. Taylor at the age of 89 went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 27, 2010, at her home in Ingram. She was born on October 04, 1920 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Chesley and Juda Evins Moss. Merle was a great cook and she worked at La Hacienda from 1972 until 1974, owned her on restaurants Taylor Cafe in Ingram and the Busy Bee in Kerrville for over 10 years, and she loved to sing and Jesus and her family meet everything too her. She married Rudolph Taylor on Oct. 31, 1951 in Kerrville, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, son Darrel, sisters Vora, Zala, Lois and brother Jack, husband Rudolph, grandson Billy Wayne Pearson.
Merle is survived by daughters Frances Marie Baker of McAllen, Tx, Linda Pearson and husband David of Ingram, Berneice Andrews and husband Andy of Fredericksburg, Tx and Anita Bartosh of Houston; grandchildren Danny Pearson of Ingram, Foster Barker, Jacques Barker, Aaron Hamilton, Nancy Kneupper; great grandchildren Ian Barker and Jacques Barker; brother Marvin Moss and wife Clara; Special niece Carol Ann Luckie of Buda, Tx; many other family members and friends who love her will miss her.
Visitation will be held 10am until 2pm on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Wright's Funeral Parlor, family will be here from 1pm until 2pm to greet guests.
Graveside services will be held at 3pm, Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Hunt Cemetery with Pastor Day and Pastor Doc officiating the services.
