A memorial service will be held at 2pm, on Tuesday, June 8th, 2010 at the Zion Lutheran Church . Interment will be in Pennsylvania next to her father.
Her family would like to thank Vista Care for providing excellent service to Linda and her family in their time of need.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Linda's memory to Vista care Hospice, the American Cancer Society Relay For Life, or the Executive Women's Organization for Baubles & Beads, all of Kerrville.

Danny and Joey,
I was shocked and saddened when I heard of Linda's passing this Saturday. I apologize for not being at her service, as my own health issues would not permit me to attend.
Your mother was someone who exhibited grace, strength, and charm in every situation. Her top priorities were her boys and she loved you both very much. Words cannot accurately express how I admired her. If I can be of any service, please don't hesitate to call.

Linda didn't know me in person, but we do share a bond. I am a 21 year old nursing student living in Pennsylvania. Some months ago I received one of Linda's Relay For Life bears in the mail. I will be 6 months cancer free on Saturday the 12th. I know that Linda's prayers and thoughts of me helped me to get through. I wish I could have met such an amazing, caring woman. She is forever in my heart, and I will never forget what she did for me.

I've known Linda since we met @ Triumphant Lutheran Church in Garden Ridge when Danny was a baby in a carrier by her side. When we visited we realized our 2 boys shared the same names!! The older Joey & younger Danny!! She was so dedicated to be involved in a church whereever she lived. My husband & I moved to Kerrville in 1992 and SURPRISE who showed up @ our church? Linda,Joey & Danny Corder. WE shared many conversations & boys' B-day parties, sports, band, etc as our boys were going through their public school lives. Our (Brad, Joey, Danny, & Genie Flink) sincerest sympathy & love is extended to her two boys especially for the loss of their LOVING mother, who would have done anything for her boys and was an amazing, caring parent. I Know how much she loved you two!! We had that in common, also.

Linda was a special friend of mine. I first met her when our oldest sons played soccer together, but didn't get to know her then. I do remember her infectious smile and positive attitude despite what was going on. She was such a loving person, the type that would give the shirt off her back if someone needed it. She was always thinking of others before herself. When she had a task to do, she gave more than 100%. I got to know her when she began working at Plaza on the River. We chatted easily about anything. She was always friendly and cheerful. I, also, remember her as a fellow cancer patient and Relay for Life Participant. Most of all I know her as my friend. I loved her like a sister. She spent her last months with a grace that can only come from a life of faith in God. I will truly miss you, Linda. May you rest in peace. I will see you again someday, of that I am certain.
