My name is Eddy Farrell. I was as saddened to hear of Clayton's passing. He and I began the 1st grade together at Tivy Elementary in 1946 and were boyhood friends until my family moved to San Antonio in 1952. He and I were born the same year and married the same year. Except for a brief visit in 57', we just lost contact. In 46', the Henkel's lived on May Dr. about a mile or so north of Tivy stadium and as I recall, his dad managed a Butane distributorship on Peterson Dr, just down the hill from May Dr. We lived on Roy St. just off Fredericksburg Rd, both places in the country in those days. We walked a lot in those days&&
So many wonderful memories of our days hunting and camping and just being boys in the woods&&Second and third graders spending the night in the woods having a great time&..Unheard of in today's world.
Thanks for listening,
Eddy Farrell

Our love and prayers to the family. Clay will always be remebered as a friend thru thick and thin. He loved people for what they were, not who they were or what they had. We will miss our very dear friend, especially his cute little smile that made you wonder what he was thinking.
Clay was a fighter to the end. We will miss him, but we know he is free of pain and looking down on us and figureing a way to help us in any way he can. Clay will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Love and prayers to the family.
Bob, Shirl, Lono, Tom, Tony, Lisa and Michael.

To Clay's family, to express my sincere sympathy at his death. I knew Clay when we both attended ACC Wellness program, we did our water exercies along with others.
Clay was always in good spirits, even though he was not always feeling up to par. When I needed a ride to Wellness, and my car was in the garage, he willingly picked me up so I wouldn't miss our water therapy. I am sure you will all miss his smiles. I am sorry not to be able to attend the celebration of his life on Sturday, as we will heading to Indiana. Again, my condolonces.
