Marjorie Rynd BenjaminMarjorie Rynd Benjamin at the age of 79 passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at a local care center in Kerrville Texas with her loving husband Ray at her side. She was born on June 26, 1931 in Houston Texas to Jack and Mary Rynd. Marjorie was a nun with the Dominican Order for 20 years. She was a teacher in schools in California, Texas and Louisiana, then a principal of a school in Louisiana. Marjorie met and fell in love with Raymond working in a church office in Houston and they later were married. They loved to travel and she was a member of the Wally Bryan Airstream Travel Club. She enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes also playing tennis. Marjorie was a member of St. Peters Church in Kerrville Texas where she and Ray volunteered for many actives. She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. Marjorie is survived by her husband Ray Benjamin of Kerrville Texas; Kerry Lynn Wiebe and husband Lindy and Sharon Lee Cameron and husband Jim; sister Catherine Inman of Pearland, Texas; grandchildren Madison and Jia Wiebe and many other family members and friends who love her will miss her. Memorial services will be held 10am, Friday, July 02, 2010 at St. Peters Church of Kerrville, Texas. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Raphael Free Clinic or Peterson Hospice. The family would like to thank Peterson Hospice for all their loving care of Marjorie during her illness.
