1976 - 2010
Kerrville- Bonnie Louise Nixon, 94, went to be with Jesus Christ on July 10,2010 at her residence in Kerrville. She was born on April 19, 1916 in Llano, Tx to Robert and Mary Pierce Mc Kenney. Louise married Thomas Carl Nixon in Fredericksburg, Tx in the 1930's. They moved to Kerrville in 1943 and she worked for Peterson Hospital for over 15 years. She served the Lord and was a member of the Victor Baptist Church. She was an out going person and loved to make beaded jewelry.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Thomas Carl Nixon; son, Thomas Nixon; brothers Robert and Carlos Nixon and sister, Beatrice.
Louise is survived by her children, Carl Nixon and wife Ninta of San Antonio, Ruth Webb and husband Paul of San Antonio; 9 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. She will be loved and missed by many other family members and friends.
Services will be Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 2pm at Victory Baptist Church with Pastor WD Day officiating the services. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Webb, Bret Webb, Carl Allen Nixon, Edward James Nixon, Clint Saabedra, Justin Saabedra and Leonel Saabedra along with honorary pallbearers James Almand, Ray Almand and Lloyd Almand.
