
SAN ANTONIO - Greg Cheek, 59, died Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, in San Antonio after a long battle with chronic lymphatic leukemia.
He is survived by his daughter, the love of his life, Dresden Cheek; his stepson, Justin Schrimpsher and wife, Emily; stepdaughter, Briahna and husband, B.J. White, and their daughter, Berlin; and his stepmother, Fran Cheek.
His siblings are Janice Anderson and husband, Chuck, of Kerrville, and Daniel Cheek and wife, Leah, of Bentonville, Ark.
He had 11 nieces and nephews, as well as many great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins, who loved him very much.
Greg loved life. He was an avid fisherman, scuba diver and skier. He loved his family and Jehovah God. He had strong faith in Christ's promise of resurrection at John 5:28 and 5:29.
Memorial to be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 15270 Huebner Road, San Antonio.
