Ironically, my family and I attended a funeral in Kerrville. On our way back home, we witnessed the accident that apparently claimed Dustin's life. We stopped, as did another gentlemen, and called 911. I don't know why I write this except to say that since that day, we've continually wondered how he faired after the accident. He was conscience at the scene, and my whole family held hands and prayed for him. Returning to Kerrville for Thanksgiving, we again drove by the site and saw where flowers had been left. Realizing what this meant, we stopped again and prayed for the man we never actually knew. We are so saddened and extend our condolences to his family and friends. May God be with you and yours!

Dustin worked for us at the boys home at Villa Del Sol where he constantly worked to change young mens lives. Dustin had so much compassion for what he did and it showed. Dustin was one of my very favorit staff and would always ask if he was still my favorite. He talked to me about his goals and how he wanted to be a teacher , he would be a great one. He also talked about his family and there was no doubt he loved you all very much. Dustin touched many lives including mine and I know his warmth and kindness will live on in our fond memories of him. May God bless you and give you comfort in this time.

An awesome man, with a huge heart. Staying clean is a gift that God gives us, to keep clean, is what we can all do together for Dustin. We are so sad to hear about Dustin's passing. Dustin was a great playmate of Jon's growing up
from pre-school through High School and a classmate in my pre-school class. I still recall all the laughter Dustin and my children had during slumbers. My how the kids grew up so fast. Dustin touched our hearts and we will always remember his smile, laughter and great mannerism. Always so kind....

I didn't know Dustin very well, only talked to him a couple of times. I am the manager of the rent house that he & Jon shared for awhile and from what I could tell he was a very sweet & caring young man. I know quite a few people who knew him & I'm know he was very loved & will be deeply missed by all. So sorry for your loss & may God Bless your family.
