Chuck, it has been more than a year now since you left us. Every day is another day that I would not have if I had not met you. Even now, when I find myself in a quandry, I can hear your gentle laughter, and your strait up, no nonsense suggestions. Thank you for my live, and thanks to your family for sharing you with me. You are still missed, my friend.

Your memory remains, your infectious laughter stays with me, your love for humanity and generousity to those in need are what I remember when I think of you.
My thoughts of condolance for his family and those others who cared for him. Chuck was a friend to many.

After a long overnight shift on the porch I could always count on Chuck to show up on time & have some interesting conversation. I'll miss you.

I have known Chuck for many years through the Kerrville Folk Festival. He was a great guy. I am going to miss his smiling face at the ranch.

It's my privilege to recognize the U.S. Army service of Mr. Sullivan during the 1950s and 60s.
Every citizen of this nation should be grateful to Mr. Sullivan and all of the other American men and women whose sacrifices preserved our liberties during the Cold War.
May the Lord comfort you in your loss.
Sincerely,
Joseph Benham, Chaplain and Past President, Hill Country Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution, Kerrvile
