Aurelio Luna Garcia at the age of 64 went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 17, 2010 at a San Antonio Texas hospital. He was born on October 2, 1946 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Roman and Maria Luna Garcia. Aurelio worked as a ranch hand most of his life. He was a loving father, husband and friend. Aurelio loved being around family at all family gatherings, he had a vegetable garden that he loved to work in, loved the outdoors and couldn't stand to be indoors, loved Mexican food, swimming in the river, playing with his grandkids, animals of all kinds, dancing, music and a good cold beer. Aurelio was a laid-back person always calm and with a good sense of humor, he was a very special dad one of a kind. He is preceded in death by his mother.
Aurelio is survived by his loving wife Maria Luna; daughters: Blanca Estela Luna and husband Greg Garza, Maria T. Hernandez and husband Emmanuel Hernandez, Julia Hernandez and husband Miguel Hernandez, and Fabiola Gutierrez and husband Jorge Gutierrez; sons Aurelio Luna Jr. and Marco A. Luna;
grandchildren: Davo Luna, Emmanuel Hernandez, Yanira Garza, Adrian Hernandez and Ivan Hernandez all of Kerrville; father: Roman Luna Devora of Mexico and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.
Visitation will be held 9am until 6pm on Monday, December 20, 2010 at Wright's Funeral Parlor in Kerrville Texas. Rosary will be held at 6pm, Monday December 20, 2010 at Wright's Funeral Parlor in Kerrville.
