1923 - 2011
 Max E. Peese at the age of 87 passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at his home in Kerrville Texas. He was born on April 28, 1923 in Stonewall Texas to August and Paralee "Chesser" Peese. Max married Ruby Besier on July 19, 1949 in Fredericksburg, Texas. He work for Naylor Ranch, later he started his on roofing business then he went on to work as for Pete Arnold Construction, then late in life he went back to Ranching. Max enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and the great outdoors, but he loved dancing most of all. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Kerrville. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Karen Klemstein and husband Timothy.
Max is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Ruby Peese of Kerrville; son Max L. Peese and wife Joyce of Comfort; brother Levi Peese and wife Peggy of Kerrville; sister Cora Grona and husband Chester of Fredericksburg; 3 grandchildren Lisa Bennett, Dustin Klemstein and wife Jill and Michael Peese and wife Christina; 4 great grandchildren Braeden Bennett, Connor Ritter, Casey Klemstein and Shelby Klemstein and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.
Memorial services will be held 2pm, Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Zion Lutheran Church in Kerrville with Pastor Radnut officiating the services. Interment will be held at Comfort Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to a charity of your choosing.
