RIP my friend. I never got to meet you in person but I got to know you just the same. I grieve not for you, but for the family and friends you've left behind.

My condolences to you, Kathy, to Earl's children, and to all those whose lives will be a little diminished with his passing.
Like a lot of others, I met Earl online. I'm glad I did have a chance to meet him in person and have a couple of beers with him. And of course, what he taught me about cooking a proper beef brisket will always be with me.

I knew Earl through the Gun & Game Forum. His sense of humor frequently gave me a laugh, and he was one of those who provided emotional support and prayers when I had to have surgery last summer. I simply regret we never had a chance to meet face to face. He will be missed. R.I.P.
