Paul R JonesPaul R. Jones passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2011, after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 75. He was a kind and loving person to all who knew him. Paul was born on August 10, 1935 in Malheur County, Oregon. Paul served in the U.S. Marine Reserves. He worked as a custodian for Tom Daniels Elementary School. Paul retired from Car Quest of Kerrville and Bandera as a delivery person. Paul will be greatly missed and is leaving behind a loving wife of 27 years Helen Jones of Kerrville, Texas; brother David Jones of Grand Rapids, Minnesota; 5 children Zelma Cennell and husband Jerry of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Alfredo Lopez and wife Connie of Ingram, Texas, Mario Lopez and wife KimLee of Lubbock, Texas, Margaret Rios and husband Noe of Center Point, Texas, Carole Brown and husband John of Kerrville, Texas; 9 grandchildren Carlena Jones, Benjamin Rios Jr. and wife Taylor, Joseph Lopez and wife Julie Garza, Valerie Lopez, Skylar Brown, Joshua Brown, Eric Trevino, Jennifer Trevino, and Erika Trevino; 7 great grandchildren Fayden Knowlton-Lopez, Alexa Gonzales, Leah Gonzales, Mary-Grace Rios, Paige Davis, Brayson Trevino and Kaylee Lopez. Memorial reception will be held 10am until 7pm Saturday, Aug. 06, 2011 at Wright's Funeral Parlor in Kerrville, with the family greeting guests from 5pm-7pm. In lieu of flowers the family request that you make a donation to Vista Care Hospice (1001 Water Suite B-100 Kerrville Texas 78028) or a charity of your choice.
