Robert Edward Murphy at the age of 76 passed away on Wednesday, August 03, 2011 at his home in Kerrville Texas. He was born on June 11, 1935 in Abilene Texas to Edward and Margarete "Watts" Murphy. Robert married Phyllis in 1975. He has a masters degree in Mathematics, and he went to work for Pacific North West Pipelines in Salt Lake City as an Engineer and retired from there. Robert and his wife Phyllis loved to travel, they went to Mexico and loved it there so much that they stayed for 10 years, then moved too Kerrville Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents and 3 step children.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Phyllis Murphy of Kerrville Texas; son Michael E. Murphy and wife Debra of Texas; 2 grandsons William and Patrica Murphy and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.
