Wanda Nell CarrollWanda Nell Carroll at the age of 57 passed into the arms of angels on Thursday, November 03, 2011 at her home in Fredericksburg Texas, with her loving family at her bedside. She was born on October 13, 1954 in Killeen Texas to Gene and Wynelle Cole. Wanda married Scott Carroll on June 9, 2002 and they became well-known as massage therapists for Massage Connection in the Fredericksburg. Her favorite pastimes were playing the guitar and singing songs she written, working in her vegetable garden, but most of all going to the beach and camping out, trying to catch that one "big" fish, and making people happy. She is preceded in death by her dad Gene Cole and brother Lance Eugene Cole. Wanda is survived by her husband Scott Carroll of Fredericksburg, Texas; 2 sons Jeremy Hoover and wife Mirian and Lucas Brasher both of Houston, Texas; 2 step daughter Julia Banobich and Jennie Cao; mother Wynelle Cole and step dad Harold McGuire of Ingram, Texas; sister Lisa Thompson and husband Craig of Washington; 2 grandchildren Jacob Hoover and Luke Garcia; 5 step grandchildren Taylor, Faith, Simone, Jacob, and Braelyn and many other family members and friends who love her will miss her. The family wishes to thank the many wonderful friends for their support and prayers. A special thank you to hospice nurses Linda Seip, Serenity Drum and Melanie Cole for their outstanding care and compassion shown to us. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hill Country Memorial Hospice, "P.O. Box 835, Fredericksburg, TX 78624". Memorial services will be held 1pm, Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011 at Tatsch House at Lady Bird Municipal Park in Fredericksburg. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Wanda was a pleasure to work with. Always pleasant, always punctual, always did a good job. Hunter and I will miss her smile.
