Judith August passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the age of 71. She was born on October 24, 1940 in Mitchell South Dakota to James and Geraldine Franks. After graduating from Mitchell High School, Judy relocated to California where she resided from 1958 to 2004 when she retired with her husband, Richard August to Kerrville, Texas. Judy enjoyed working in her yard, keeping a neat house, and staying abreast of current politics. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her father James Franks and 3 beloved pets Mali, Sami and Kristen.
Judy is survived by her husband of 20 years Richard of Texas; son Jamie Keeler and wife Valerie of California.; mother Geraldine Franks, sisters Jerilyn Weber and Myrna Oehlerking all of South Dakota; brothers Jim Franks of Florida and Joe Franks of South Dakota; 4 grandsons Trenton, Tanner, Bradyn and Blake Keeler; 3 step children, many step grandchildren and one step great grandchild; nieces and nephews and many other special family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations in Judy's name can be made to the American Cancer Society.
