1946 - 2012
 Timothy John Stem, 65, went to be with the Lord on Jan 27, 2012 at his home in Ingram. He was born on October 13, 1946 in Cleveland, OH to Florence (Konicki) and John Stem. Timothy served his country in the US Army from 1965-1968 during the Vietnam War and has many medals of valor. He married Karen Fuchs on Feb. 15, 1969 in Cleveland, OH. He retired from the Kmart Corp in the security department. He was an active member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Hill Country Chapter 863 and a life member of the VFW, DAV and VVA. Timothy was a member of the Notre Dame Catholic Church. He loved to play practical jokes on people and a collector of ducks and knives.
He is preceded in death by his parents Florence and John and daughter Tricia Stem.
Timothy is survived by his loving wife, Karen Stem of Ingram; daughters Tiffany Stem of Parma, Ohio, Tara Strbo and husband Bruce of Brunswick, Ohio, Tressa Jukes and husband Lester of Ballston Spa, New York; sister, Connie Sutter and husband Chuck of Parma, Ohio; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandson; dog Daisy. He will be missed and loved by many dear friends and family members.
Memorial Service will be held 10 am, Saturday, Feb 04, 2012 at the VA Hospital Chapel, Kerrville and a reception will follow service.
Interment will be conducted at 10:30am, on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the Holy Cross Cemetery, (14609 Brookpark Rd.) Cleveland, OH.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Odyssey Hospice of Kerrville and/or VA volunteer services.
Arrangements are under the care of Wright's Funeral Parlor of Kerrville.
