James Richard Russell at the age of 67 passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at a Kerrville, Texas hospital. He was born on December 07, 1944 in De Queen, Arkansas to Richard and Rozelle (Parker) Russell. James served in the U.S. Navy from1961 until 1964 during Vietnam. He was a member of the Living Tree Church in Ingram, Texas and the American Legion in Plano, Texas. James owned and operated Jim's Barber Shop for over 30 years in Star City, AR and Kerrville.
James is survived by his loving wife of 27 years Deborah Russell of Kerrville, Texas; 1 daughter Veronica Russell of Pasadena; 2 step sons John Schniebs & wife Monica of England and Chris Schniebs & wife Nickie of Ingram, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.
Military Memorial services will be held 1pm, Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Living Tree Church in Ingram, Texas with Pastor Thomas officiating the services. Interment will be at Ft. Sam National Cemetery at a later date.
