Kerrville- Juanita T Uballe, 86, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at her home in Kerrville. She was born in Brownsville, TX on Feb. 17, 1926 to Connie (Longoria) and Emilio Torres. She was a professional baker before retirement. Juanita loved to read the bible, sitting outdoors, crocheting and whistling. She was also an avid Telenovela (Soap Opera) viewer. She was a member of the Sinai Presbyterian Church. Juanita will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great and great -great grandmother and dear friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Connie and Emilio Torres.
Juanita is survived by her loving children, Tony Uballe and wife Becky of Johnson City, Roy Uballe and wife Amelia of Blanco, Russell Uballe of Kerrville and Elma Uballe of Kerrville; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She will be loved and missed by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from 2pm 7pm with family greeting guest from 5pm- 7pm on Sunday, April 01, 2012 at the chapel of Wrights Funeral Parlor.
Funeral Service will be held 2pm, Monday, April 02, 2012 at Wrights Funeral Parlor, Kerrville. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be Herman Joseph Banda, Rudy Uballe Jr., Frank Uballe, Edward Uballe, Herman Uballe Jr., and John David Uballe.
