1955 - 2012
 Kerrville- Gilberto Aleman, 57, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at his home at Educare, Hondo of natural causes. He was born on Feb 04, 1955 in Segovia, Texas to Gregorio Aleman and Petra (Rodriguez) Aleman. Gilberto was one of thirteen children. As a child, he had many difficulties including walking but his joy created a smile on the faces of everyone around him. When he was 8 months old he was diagnosed with epileptic seizures. He was a hard worker and never stopped even dealing with the seizures. He loved to help everyone out in any way possible. In his early 20s, he was put into a group home where he enjoyed a life full of activities. He loved arts and crafts, collecting items and continuously visiting his mother in Ingram. Towards the end of Gilbertos life, he loved the work he was doing as a recyclers shredding paper.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gregorio Aleman.
Gilberto is survived by his loving mother, Petra Aleman; brothers and sisters, Victor Aleman, Maria Salinas, Rita Aleman, Luisa Rodriguez, Cipriano Aleman, Dominga Lopez, Julia Santana, Josephina Aleman, Silvester Aleman, Erlinda Pena and Juanita Saldana; 55 nieces and nephews. He will be loved and missed by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10a 7pm with family greeting guest from 5- 7pm on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at the chapel of Wrights Funeral Parlor.
Funeral Service will be held 11 am, Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Wrights Funeral Parlor, Kerrville. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be Juan Pablo Hernandez, Robert Charnichart Jr, Eric Gonzales, Tito Mata, Julian Pena Jr and Freddie Pena. |
