Hi Andrea,
I was a med school classmate of your father and am shocked and saddened to learn of his passing almost 2 years ago. I did an internet search trying to reach him to talk him into going to our 40th Baylor reunion this April. I last saw Nick in San Antonio around 1996 when our daughter was considering going to Trinity University. He drove down from Kerrville to have dinner with me, my wife, and our daughter. I don't know if Nick ever mentioned me but we were close at Baylor and once took a ski trip together to Aspen during Christmas break.
We now live in Arcata, CA in the redwood country, about 400 miles from Portland. I would greatly appreciate a call to learn more of your father's later life. My phone is 707-822-2003. Again my deepest sympathies.
Greg

Andrea,
I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I had never met Nicholas, but from what you had mentioned, he seemed like a fun loving adventurous guy. The loss of a parent is something we know is most likely inevitable in our lifetime, but difficult to bear. I hope you are doing well now.

Andrea, I worked with your dad through Hudspeth Memorial Hospital for almost 24 years and had stayed in touch after I retired from there. I had been trying to get in touch with him for several months and just today found his obituary. Am so very sorry about your dad.

I was so sorry to hear about Dr. Jackson's passing. He was our radiologist here in Junction for years and I really enjoyed working with him.
