Wendell L. Willis Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1923 - 2012 Wendell L. Willis at the age of 88 went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the Kerrville Texas VA hospital. He was born on September 18, 1923 in Kaw City, OK to James and Pearl (Compton) Willis. Wendell served in the U.S. Air Force from 1943 until 1945 during World War II. He married Louise Lavobt and they retired to Kerrville. Wendell work in port services, military personal effects and then was self employed. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife. Wendell is survived by his daughter Leslie Lagarde of Ingram, Texas, and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him. Services are pending.

Wendell was special & a joy to everyone he met. I'v miss his happy smiling face. What a blessing to have shared some time with him.
