George Anthony Guice,63, went to be with the Lord on June 03, 2012 at a Kerrville hospital. He was born on Nov 05, 1948 in Corpus Christi, Tx to Herman and Evie Mae (Nixon). He served on the US Marine Corp from 1969-1971 during the Veitnam War. George retired after 40 years of loyal service for the Union Mill Right Company as a welder. He married Tamra Moore on April 18, 1950 in Angleton, Texas. They moved to the Hill Country over 2 years ago and became members of the First Assembly of God, Kerrville. George loved to sing, write music and play his guitar.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Herman Guice Jr and James Guice; daughter Cynthia Denise Guice.
George is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Tamra Guice of Kerrville; sons, George Guice Jr of Texas and Frank Moore and wife Tonia of Kerrville; brother, Arthur Guice and wife Kathy of Alvin; sisters, Maria Johnson, Sarah Madon and husband Melvin of Santa Fe and Vera Brazil of AR and four grandchildren. He will be loved and missed by many other family members and dear friends.
Memorial service will be held 1pm, Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the First Assembly of God, Kerrville with Pastor Ricky Moore officiating the service.
In lieu of flowers the family would like contributions to made in George's memory to the First Assembly of God, Kerrville.
