John Paul Wurtz Sr.John Paul Wurtz Sr of Ft. Worth Texas, at the age of 85 passed away on Monday, June 18, 2012 at a Kerrville, Texas care center. He was born on January 11, 1927 in Graham, Texas to Heinrich and Elizabeth Wurtz. John served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 until 1946. He went on to become a accountant office manager in Ft. Worth Texas. John married Doris Smith on July 28, 1950 in Ft. Worth Texas where they have lived their whole life. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ft. Worth. He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 grandchild, and 6 siblings. John is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Doris Wurtz of Ft. Worth, Texas; children Phyllis Herston and husband Jerry of Franklin, IN., Jan Agosta of Kerrville, TX., and John Wurtz Jr and wife Kitty of Haslet, TX.; brother Harlen Wurtz of Grandberry, Tx.; 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him. Burial will take place at 11am, Friday, June 22, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church in Ft. Worth and burial will take place at Skyvu Memorial Cemetery in Mansfield, Texas.
