
Green Perkins at the age of 62 passed away on Sunday, August 05, 2012 at his home in Kerrville Texas with his loving family at his bedside. He was born on February 14, 1950 in Three Rivers, Texas to Calvin and Jennie (Sparks) Perkins. Green married Mitzi Briley on August 23, 1999 in Lovington, New Mexico. He was a restaurant owner in Coleman, Texas most of his life the name of it was SOMETHIN'S FISHY. Green enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar in church, fixing things that were broken like TV's, VCR's and music recordings. He was a member of the Jesus Volunteer Revival Center in Kerrville, he loved to play at the church. Green moved to Kerrville 35 years ago from Winters Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Calvin & Jennie Perkins, nephew John Wayne Gardner, sister Katherine Vandver, and 2 brothers Jesse Perkins and Clifford Perkins.
Green is survived by his loving wife of 12 years Mitzi Perkins of Kerrville; 3 sons Jesse Butler of South Carolina, Adrien Briley and Jessica of Ingram and Casey Briley of Wichita Falls; 3 daughters Michelle Wendeborn and husband Ted of Kerrville, Lisa Flores of Kerrville and Lucy Butler; brother Calvin Perkins and wife Jessica of Winters, Texas; 3 sisters Lorima Morton and husband Sherman of Glenn Cove, Texas, Carolyn Gardner of Wilmeth, Texas, and Pauline Wright and husband Walter of Odessa, Texas; 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, very dear friend Babe and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.
Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm, Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Wright's Funeral Parlor in Kerrville with Pastor Morton and Limon officiating the services.
