Santos Martinez, 75, went to be with the Lord peacefully on Dec 04, 2012 in a San Antonio hospital. She was born on Feb 24, 1937 in Purisima, Mexico to Jose and Marinta (Antunis) Martinez. She was a devoted housewife and mother to her loving 5 children and husband Tomas Martinez. Santos loved to cook, daily Bible reading, listen to music and spend time family.
She is preceded in death by her parent; her loving husband, Tomas Martinez; siblings, Cheva Palacios, Felipe, Jesus, Apolonio and Milia Martinez.
Santos is survived by her children, Santos Martinez and wife Joy of Ingram, Jose Luis Martinez and wife Carol of Comfort, Jose Ignacio Martinez of Ingram, Tomas Martinez and wife Sarah of Kerrville, Jane Martinez Palacios and husband Juan of Ingram; sisters, Asencion Soto, Josefa Villarreal and Eluteria Martinez. She also had 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was the heart of the family and will be remembered as a cherished sister, mother and friend. The Lord has one more angel.
Services will be 1 pm, Sunday, Dec 09, 2012 at Wrights Funeral Parlor, Kerrville. Interment will follow at Harper Community Cemetery, Harper. Pallbearers for the service will be Adrian Hernandez, Raymond, Jaime, Joseph, Justin and Tomas Martinez.
