
Terry Michael (Lee) Trauth at the age of 63 passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at a local hospital. He was born in Houston, Texas on March 25, 1949 to Royce Lee and Penny (Tucker) Lee. Terry was adopted in 1955 by Ignatius Jim Trauth after his dad passed away. He lived with them in Ann Harbor, MI, and then moved to New Mexico, California and then back to Houston, Texas. Terry completed High School at Strake in Houston, Texas, then went on to the University of Houston to get his undergraduates degree. He was able to do some graduate work and taught as an instructor. Terry moved to Seattle, Washington where he managed a Car Rental company. He subsequently began to care for a employee who became disabled, the two of them moved to Kerrville where Terrys family had settled and where Terry himself became disabled and forced too retire. But in his retirement he continued to care for others in need, using his social working skills. Terry developed a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, which helped him work through the Church organizations like ACTS, CAFE and AA. His medical struggles began at the age of 5, worsened as a young adult, until the Lord finally rescued him. He is preceded in death by his dad Royce Lee.
Terry is survived by his loving parents Jim and Penny Trauth of Kerrville, TX; 2 sisters Jody Adams and husband Hank of Kerrville, TX and Lisa Lacy of Sunland, CA.; niece Katie Lacy of Sunland, CA.; nephew Andrew Lacy of Bellingham, WA.; 2 aunts Maurine Bishop of Houston, TX., and Betty Lee of La Port, TX. And numerous cousins and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.
Memorial Mass will be held 12 noon, Friday, December 21, 2012 at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Kerrville, TX.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to HOPE Ministry at Notre Dame Catholic Church.
