
Don Tullie Brady, 74, of Kerrville, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, December 29, 2012.
Don was born in Anahuac, Texas to Tullie and Thadlie Brady on February 2, 1938. He graduated from Clinton High School, Clinton, LA, Hinds Junior College, Raymond Ms, and Lamar University, Beaumont, TX and retired, a third generation Entergy employee.
Don was preceded in death by his parents; his son John Tullie Brady; and his grandson Bryan Clifton Brady.
Don is survived by his wife, Sarah Brady of Kerrville; his son, Don Milam Brady of Paso Robles, CA; his daughter, Beth Brady of Wimberley, TX; a daughter, Lacey Baker Hewitt; grandchildren, Colter, Laura, Cassidy, and Paris Brady; Elizabeth Hewitt and Layton Patterson; a brother, Glenn Brady, of Clinton, LA; and sisters Ann Brady Holland of Clinton, LA; and Jan Brady St. John of Fredericksburg, VA; as well as many loving nieces, nephews and associates.
Don was an electrical engineer by training and in practice through many years of service with Gulf States Utilities, West Texas Utilities, and , finally, Entergy Corporation from which he retired in 1999.
Don had special feelings for his experiences at Hinds Junior College and the many deep relationships he developed while there. His associations with these circles of players and associates continued after his playing time with gatherings and reunions. The Hinds Eagles were with him until the end!
Don was active in the Episcopal Church in all the geographical areas in which he was called to serve. His special love was the Opera, and church vocal music. The Hill Country Vocal Arts Society was one of his favorite activities.
After retirement, he was active in his service as a substitute teacher. He approached his teaching experiences as ministry opportunities. He treasured the opportunities to share with young people.
Dons special calling, however, was as a Dad and Papa. Uncle Don had and will continue to have a special place in the hearts of the many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be at St. Peters Episcopal Church, Kerrville, TX, Monday, Monday, December 31, 2013 at 2:00 PM.
