James Douglas Karney at the age of 88 passed away on Wednesday, January 02, 2013 at a Kerrville, Texas hospital. He was born on August 24, 1924 in Rocky Ford, CO. to Theodore and Lena Karney. James served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 until 1965. He worked as a Teacher for many years. James married Grace Beale and they settled in the Hill Country. He is preceded in death by his parents.
James is survived by his loving wife Grace Karney of Kerrville; children, step children, grandchildren and many other family members and friends who loved him will miss him.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
