1945 - 2013
 Jan Dorian Webb at the age of 67 passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013 at his home in Mt. Home. He was born on October 08, 1945 in Houston, Texas to James and Cloe Webb. Jan served in the U.S. Navy from 1964 until 1968. He married Jodie Straw and they moved to the Hill Country. Jan worked as a machinist in the oil field most of his life.
Jan is survived by his loving wife Jodie Webb of Mt. Home; daughters Bridget, Sunny, Nicole & Jessica; stepchildren Kathryn & Sean; grandchildren Brian, Brittany, Kady, Erin, Brody & Dalton; step grandchildren Katrina & Danyael; great-grandchild Charli and other family members and many friends who embraced his love for the outdoors and his ranch in the hill country.

I first met JD at Carroll machine running manual lathe,we hit it off and became friends .I loved and respected him, I will cherish the good times hunting and just sitting around talking about anything that came up hunting, fishing about the one that got away.He will be missed by all that new him.JD RIP GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN.We will met again!

Jodie we will miss JD very, very much. He was a very special friend who we knew that we could always depend on being there when we needed him. I will miss our friendly arguments which, as you know, both he and I greatly enjoyed. I know that he will always be with us and watching over us as we roam across Axis Acres.

I will so miss JD and sitting on the porch having a drink and talking politics with him. Eventhough I only got to know JD for 1.5 years I have the utmost admiration and love for he and Jodie. So very sorry to his family, please know my heart and prayers are with you. Love y'all!
