Gus Demos at the age of 85 passed away on Friday, March 01, 2013 at a Kerrville, Texas care center. He was born on July 29, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois to Peter and Harriet Demos. Gus retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1970 after severing in the Vietnam War. He was awarded 3 Bronze stars, from 1959 till 1965, he was stationed in Tachikawa, Japan from 1965 till 1968 where he meet his loving wife Kimiko Kayano she was a tour guide, they fell in love and got married. Gus later worked as a Air Traffic Controller. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Gus is survived by his loving wife Kimiko Demos of Kerrville, Texas and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.
Military burial will take place at a later date at Kauai National Cemetery in Hawaii.
