Doris Mae Hoffpauir, 90, passed away on April 18, 2013 in Comfort, Texas. She was born on Sept 13, 1922 in Groesbeck, Texas to William Alfred Vinzant and Bessie (Wright) Vinzant. She married Roland K. Hoffpauir on October 12, 1940, they were married 68 years at Roland's death. Doris had worked as a bookkeeper, but the most important thing in her life was family and seeing that they were taken care of.
She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Roland Hoffpauir; sisters, Noretta V. Wright and Muriel V. Loughridge.
Doris is survived by her loving children, Micheal Hoffpauir of Center Point and James R. Hoffpauir of Center Point; grandchildren, Eric Hoffpauir, Amy Batchellor, Keith Hoffpauir and Kristi Meccia; great grandchildren, Asher and Hannah Batchellor, Malcolm McCoy and Karen Hoffpauir. She will be loved and missed by many other family members and dear friends.
