Lurlene Kay Esser Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1966 - 2013 Lurlene Kay Esser, 46, passed away on May 03, 2013 at her residence surrounded by loved one in Kerrville. She was born on Dec. 19, 1966 in New Braunfels to Nahum and Sandra Modgling. She married David Esser on March 20, 1993 in Austin. Lurlene loved gardening, having tons of animals and spending time with family especially her kids and grandkids. She was preceded in death by her father, Nahum Modgling. Lurlene is survived by her mother, Sandra Modgling; husband, David Esser; children, Larissa Herring, Dusti Esser, Amanda Esser and Cobey Esser; siblings, Betty Jean Frances, Nahum Bert Mogling Jr., Randy Modgling, Laura Satterfield and Matthew Modgling; 5 grandchildren Kaleb and Amelia Herring, Anthony Esser, and Christopher and Mason Martin; numerous nieces and nephews. She will be loved and missed by many other family members and friends. Memorial services will be held 11am, Friday, May 10, 2013 at Wright's Funeral Parlor in Kerrville with Pastor Victor Valdez officiating the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Odyssey Hospice.

Lurlene and I were class mates at Tivy and she was a good friend. I express my deepest condolences for the family. She will be missed deeply.

To the Esser/Mogling families...I offer you my condolences on Lurlene's passing, I am very grateful that I got to know Lurlene and grateful for all the years I got to know her..She taught me alot and will still teach me down the road...She will forever live in my heart....Dino
