Dean R. Smith at the age of 84 passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at a San Antonio hospital. He was born on October 24, 1928 in Hastings, Michigan, to Harold and Irloa "Swisher" Smith. Dean married Grace Shoemaker. He served in the U.S. Army from 1950 until 1952. Dean and his wife loved to travel, he is from Florida. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Dean is survived by his loving wife Grace Smith of Ingram, Texas and many friends who love him will miss him.
