1968 - 2013
William Louis Robinson (Billy) was born in Kerrville on Aug 20, 1968. He went to be with the Lord at the age of 45 on Aug 24, 2013.
He was a native of Kerrville. He was homeless, he chose that lifestyle but he still loved his family and his family loved him. He graduated from Tivy High School in 1987. He worked various jobs but he loved working in food service. He had many faults, but he was trying really hard to overcome them. He was never a threat to society. Many people truly loved him for his sweet and caring manner. I was his sister and I truly admired and loved him for trying to overcome everything stated Lola. He had been attending Celebrate Recovery at the First Baptist Church; he recently joined and was baptized.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Lou Ellen Robinson; grandparents, William and Lola Brogden.
Billy is survived by his sister, Lola Jacoby and husband Terry; his two beautiful nieces, Cassidy and Kayla Jacoby; numerous cousins, great uncle and great aunts. Also, survived by a great number of friends.
Memorial service will be 10am, Saturday, Aug 31, 2013 at the First Baptist Church, Kerrville with Pastor John Hiddema, officiating the services.

Dear Family: I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one at such a young age. from the Obituary, I see he had a challenging life yet never gave up. I have been comforted by the resurrection hope since my mother and husband died recently and try to comfort others. John 5:28 tells about the resurrection of the dead and Revelation 21:4 about the day when death will be no more. Please contact me at rmsarske@gmail.com

Billy visited our church (FPC) frequently. I was always glad to see him there on the third pew from the back on the left hand side. He always seemed glad to see me too & would give me a big hug. When my late husband was sick in the hospital, Billy & Dennis came to see him. We were both surprised and grateful they took the time to say hello to us. I have lost husbands and children (one to murder) and feel sure Billy will be greatly missed by your family. In spite of all his failing, he was a good man. My prayers are with you as you grieve your loss.

Rest in the fact that he is resting in the bosom of Abraham, and all the old war of his life is over. Joy in Christ overcomes all. We are sad on this side of eternity but Billie is rejoicing in his LORD. Love you guys and praying for you

I was out of town on business and was shocked to hear of the death of Bill. It has been my honor to have known and worked with Bill off and on for almost ten years, most of the time as a representative of First Presbyterian Church, Kerrville. May God be with Bill, his friends and family during this time. Hoping all of your needs are met by a gracious, loving, compassionate God. Peace, Stan and Carolynn
