
Bill E. Megason Crider, 44, of Ingram, left this life on Friday, November 15, 2013 at a Kerrville hospital. He was born on Feb. 01, 1969 in De Kalb, TX to Olamae (Bishop) and Ruben Crider. Bill was a true hero, at the age of 7; he rescued a lady from a burning car in the family neighborhood. The mayor of Texarkana awarded Bill with the key to the city for bravery. Bill worked as an automobile mechanic for several years. He loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing and boating. He spent the last 24 years of his life living in Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Olamae Bishop-Dennis (1946-2007).
Bill is survived by his loving father, Ruben Crider and wife Evelyn Lee; sons, Jonathan E. Megason and Jacob E. Megason; daughters, Olamae Marie Megason, Shasta Megason and Amanda Bents; sisters, Kathy Crider, Laurie Culwell and Charlotte Crider; step siblings, Richard Crider, Rocky Crider, Hazel Crider, Polly Criderand Martha Reese; grandson, Kaden Megason; cousin, Donnie Bishop. He will be remembered by many other family members and friends, all whom loved him and will miss him greatly.
