I grew up in Rhinelander. Len was to me, as a young adult, one of the most kind people I knew. He was the new guy at Denny's, it was hard to tell Denny "I'll wait for Len". My condolences to your family, I'm certain that you're all better for having had him in your lives.

I am so sorry for your loss. My Son, Clint Lackey came home from College and asked us if we had heard about Len's death and we hadn't. We live up the street and my Husband remembered seeing a lot of cars on the street last Saturday. If there is anything we can do for you and your family, please let us know. I didn't know him, but my Son says he was a great guy and helped a lot of kids thru the YMCA. Bless you and your family.

Len was a great guy and did a lot for the kids of Kerrville. He was a great coach and set an excellent example for his teams on how to conduct themselves during competition. He was one of those people who seem to be able to inject humor at just the right time.

TO THE WILMOT FAMILY:
We were saddened to read about "Len"'s passing in the newspaper. Len gave our son, Nathan, his first haircut. He was so gentle and calm and as a result, Nathan remained totally calm and sat still during the process. It was a "memorable event" for Mom, and Len kept me calm as well. You could tell that he was a family man with children of his own. In fact, Kelsi and Nathan were classmates in Ingram. I pray for strength for all of you during the difficult days ahead. Just hang onto the fond memories you have.
Our sympathy to all of you,
Nancy & Bobby Bird

Our deepest condolences and hearts go out to you at this difficult time. Len was such a gentle, kind man and I know he loved his family very much and knew how much you all loved him. Sarah sends her love and sympathy too from Waco in memory of Coach Len. I lost my sister a few months ago at the age of 57. God and time will help ease the pain. Love, The Gruetzners
