William Riley "Bill" Robertson, Jr. passed away at his residence on December 21, 2013, at the age of 79 years old. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Robertson, two daughters, Kimberly Jane Labonte and husband, Terry Labonte of North Carolina, and Susan Annette Drymala of Ingram, Texas; grandchildren, Justin Labonte and his wife, Miranda Labonte, Kristen Labonte Garrett and her husband, Matt Garrett, and their children, Harper Garrett and Asher Garrett, and Steffi Zelenka Drymala, daughter of Susan Drymala. He is also survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia Ann and Arvey Turner, and their children, George Turner, Rhonda Turner and Pam Turner and by a brother and sister-in-law, Retired Lt. Col. Michael Perry Robertson and JoAnn Robertson, and their children, Leigh Ann Romer and husband Brad Romer, and her daughter, Madison; and Michelle Cummins and her daughter Sydney Cummins.
Bill was born on May 26, 1934, in Walnut Springs, Texas. He graduated from King High School in Kingsville, Texas, and made a career of being a pipeline welder traveling throughout the United States, Canada, and South America being a lifelong member of Local Union 798 based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He also served in the United States Navy.
