Joan Keeney, age 75, of Center Point, Texas went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 13, 2014. Joan was born October 15, 1938 in Uvalde, Texas, the oldest of three siblings of Leslie and Irene Connell. Joan is survived by daughters, Debi Alderson of San Antonio, Cissy and husband Martin Foster of Sabinal, Sondra Keeney of Kerrville; brother, Johnny Connell and wife Dolores of Sabinal; ten grand-children, Bridgette and husband Keith Bilski of Houston, Kessa and husband Greg Payne of Waco, Jerod and Kendyl of Sabinal and Cody Foster of Lake Jackson, Shawn Keeney of Kerrville, Mason, Brandon, Nicole and Tylon Keeney of Montana; ten great-grandchildren; and three nieces. Joan is preceded in death by parents, Leslie and Irene Connell; brother, Don Connell; son, Chuck Keeney; nephew, Daunt Lee Connell.
The memorial service was held on March 16, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Sabinal. It is requested that Memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Sabinal.
