Janell McDaniel Peddy, known to friends as Jan, passed away Thursday morning May 20, 2004, at Christus St. Elizabeth-Dubuis Hospital.
Born January 22, 1927 to parents John and Hattie Burgin in Lindale, TX. Jan was 77.
Jan was an active member of
her church; she especially loved her participation in the choir.
Jan was preceded in death by husbands Gail B. McDaniel, Sr. and James Peddy, and step-son Gail B. McDaniel. Jr. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews and four step-children.
The family wishes to express their appreciation for the loving kindness and care her friends expressed to Jan during her illness.
Funeral services will be held Saturday May 22, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Loeb, 3082 Highway 69 South, Lumberton, TX. Brother Lawrence Phillips will officiate. Visitation will be 5 – 8 P.M. Friday May 21, 2004 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee.
