Mary Cromer Hoffman
Mary Cromer Hoffman, born November 1, 1938 in Sacramento, California, was happily released to now reside with God, May 20, 2004, in her home in Horseshoe Bay, Texas after long, brave fight with Cancer.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Charles Hoffman, daughter Beth Chauvin of Austin, her Mother, Virgie Cromer, sisters Charlotte Cromer, Betty Rupp and her husband Harry, Barbara Farr and her husband Adrian, brother Walter Cromer, Jr. and wife Waverly, her brother-in-law Joe Hoffman and wife Carolyn and many other cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Father Walter Comer.
The family wishes to thank all the friends and family that gave their time, support and love during these many longs months.
The family also wishes to thank Odyssey Hospice, particularly our hospice nurse Benita Palmer, for her great care, immeasurable love and deep caring.
We will miss Mary's gentle soul and infinite capacity for love and caring for her friends and family. She was the most wonderful, loving and compassionate wife and mother anyone could ever have asked for. We are so thankful for the years of happiness we had with her and will miss her immensely.
Services were held at Farmers Funeral Home in Silsbee, Texas on May 22, 2004. Interment followed at Richardson Cemetery, Village Mills. Visitation was held Friday May 21 from 5 – 8 P.M.
