WILLIAM JESSIE CROSBY JR.
Funeral services for William Jessie Crosby, Jr. 67, of Silsbee, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2004 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment to follow at R. S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Crosby died May 26, 2004 at his residence in Silsbee.
He was a lifetime area resident and a wood chip truck driver. He served his country in the U. S. Navy.
Survivors include wife, Valta Crosby of Silsbee; son, Mitchell Crosby and wife Terrie of Marshall; daughters, Lisa Pierson and husband Don and Tina Dixon and husband Bobby all of Silsbee; step-mother Annie Crosby of Silsbee; sisters, Pat Moss of Lonoke, Arkansas, Gail Winger of Silsbee, Carolyn Nicholes of Colmesneil and Evelyn Cater of Splendora; brothers, Johnny Hodge of Nacogdoches, Lynn Crosby of Silsbee and Glen Crosby of Houston; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Darrell Gordon, “Bo” Dixon, Ryan Crosby, Jason Pierson, Virgle Eason, Tommy Gore and Jason Jinkerson.
