GEORGIA RAE OVERSTREET
Funeral services for Georgia Rae Overstreet, 84, of Kountze will be under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Friday, June 11, 2004 at First Baptist Church in Kountze with interment to follow at Holland Cemetery in Kountze. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Mrs. Overstreet died June 9, 2004 at the Kountze Nursing Home.
She was a longtime resident of Kountze and retired inspector for East Texas Pulp and Paper Mill.
Survivors include sons, Olen Overstreet and wife Robbie of Livingston and Tim Overstreet and wife Paula of Kountze; daughter, Carolyn Brown and husband Grady of Kingwood; brothers, R. J. Hendrix of Nederland, Lloyd Hendrix of Woodville, Louis M. “Sambo” Hendrix of Honey Island; sister, Tommie Jean Williams of Honey Island; grandchildren, Jack W. Gregory III and wife Tonya, Henry Olen Overstreet III and wife April, Whitney Overstreet and fiancé Kalli Keller, James Brown and wife Rhonda, Donna and Bob Jarvis; great grand children, Alexis Gregory, Cole Overstreet, Zachary and Ryan Brown, Ian, Devin and Ciara Jarvis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Kountze, 100 Monroe Kountze, Texas 77625.
