Douglas Leo Chambliss

Funeral services for Douglas Cleo Chambliss 77, formerly of Silsbee will be at 2pm Monday June 14, 2004 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment to follow at Magnolia Springs Cemetery in Magnolia Springs, TX. Visitation at 5pm June 13, 2004 at the Funeral Home.

Mr. Chambliss died June 11, 2004 at Lumberton Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Jasper, he also resided in Taylor and Austin. Mr. Chambliss was a retired carwash owner/operator and distributor.

Preceded in death by his wife Doylene and daughter Glynda Kay Chambliss. He is survived by brother Trumon and wife Barbara; niece Sheryl Chambliss; nephews Darryl Landers and wife Patty Ann, Gary Landers and wife Colleen, Alan Chambliss and wife Cindy and Randy Chambliss.

I was so sorry to read about Cleo in the paper. I know he will be greatly missed. I hadn't seen him nor Doylene in years but remember both of them dearly from my years of growing up in Beaumont. My family and I send our condolences to the family and may Jehovah continue to remember you.
