KATHRYN ELIZABETH “KATIE” RUGGLES
Kathryn Elizabeth “Katie” Ruggles, 16, of Silsbee passed away June 20, 2004 at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston.
Katie, a sophomore at Silsbee High School, was a fun-loving, friendly girl. She was involved in many activities at school, including choir, softball and golf. She was also an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she participated fully in the youth programs of the Church. She was an inspiration to all who knew her.
She is survived by her parents Robert Aaron and Patty Ann Ruggles, and her brothers, Paul and Matthew Ruggles, all of Silsbee. She also leaves behind numerous family members and friends who will remember her bright smile and optimism.
Visitation for Katie will begin at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at Farmers Funeral Home in Silsbee. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2004 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Silsbee on the corner of FM 418 and Autumn Shadow.

We still think of Katie Bug, daily.
Katie, played softball with my daughter, Jessica.. We are wanting to know if it, would be ok, to go and place some flowers on Katie's resting place.. If, this is ok, can you please let me know where she was put to rest at.. Thank you

Dear Ruggles Family, my prayer and thoughts are constantly with you guys. Katie was such a sweet friend. I feel so grateful to have known her. She influenced me so much. Through her example, my testimony was strengthened.
